Description

Trichostasis Spinulosa (TS) is a skin condition where multiple fine (vellus) hairs become trapped in enlarged hair follicles, forming blackhead-like plugs, most commonly on the face. Though often mistaken for common blackheads, TS requires targeted treatment for long-term improvement.

Laser Treatment Options

Laser therapy is among the most effective long-term treatments for TS, as it targets the root cause—retained hairs within the follicles:

• Long-Pulsed Alexandrite Laser :
  Destroys melanin-rich vellus hairs within the follicles. Proven effective for skin types III–IV, reducing TS lesions significantly over time.
